Bloom Hair Boutique — Attraction in Akron

I went to Bloom in January 2022 because they offer the Halo Couture hair extensions. They booked me with Bri and she walked me through the options. She had little knowledge of the product and the pricing, so she brought out the manager. The pricing was double what friends of mine have paid for the same extensions recently, but the manager stood firm that this is their pricing and they cannot be flexible. I left extremely unhappy with the entire visit. I ended up going to another salon for the extensions where I paid comparable pricing to my friends.

During my initial scheduling, they also scheduled me for a hair appointment. I figured, if I get my extensions here, it would be helpful to get my hair done by the same stylist. After I left my January appointment, I almost immediately cancelled the hair appointment I had scheduled for today, April 4. Bloom just charged my credit card a no-show fee of $72.50. They will not return my calls and I am now left with having to dispute this charge with my credit card company.

Update: the owner, Brittany, called to say she will void this no-show fee...

My daughter and I visited Bloom for the first time after a rave review from a friend. We both saw Renee for haircuts and she did a fabulous job! She really listened to what I was looking for in style and achieved it better than I could have imagined. I haven’t had a haircut I truly loved and could style so well in a very long time. Renee also made my 3 year old feel like a princess after her haircut by offering to do a beautiful Elsa braid (which she kept in for 2 days after her cut!) I visited for the first time yesterday after a recommendation from a friend. I made an appointment with Elizabeth. I made an appointment for 10, I thought, but they had it recorded for 9. They were super understanding and helped me get in later in the afternoon. They were very gracious about the miscommunication. Let me tell you, THIS WAS THE BEST HAIRCUT THAT I'VE HAD IN YEEEEARS!
