Wonderful swimming hole in the National Forest. Only a 15-20 minute hike with a relatively easy climb to get there. The sounds of rushing water are the first thing you will hear before you a greeted by a wonderful cascade of falls flowing into various pools. The swimming hole itself is the largest and deepest of these pools, with the deepest spots being about 6-7ft, depending on water levels. The falls offer a nice little bluff to jump off of into the water as well and is easy to access. Only $3 dollars per carload to park makes this the ultimate natural swimming destination. They even offer restrooms, trash cans, and a grill area near the entrance of the trail that sits next to the...

There Are 3 pieces of re-bar sticking up out of the ground going up the trail from the parking lot to the top of lake chinnabee/Devil's Den. Most likely where some small 4×4 posts/tierods rotted away quite possibly. Hate to see a child or someone elderly fall, get hurt or injured.

My family and I have Been coming here since I was 14 years old, so almost 20 years. Someone NEEDS to Fix this please. Hike was enjoyable as always but there is no exception for that. You have to pay $3 to hike so game warden or Forrest office or so.eone needs to go out there. Love the park/grounds. Let's get this handled please, for the future/sake of the youth and elderly. -My wife did trip but luckily...

Love the falls but hate the Trash (That what is left behind in addition to the people who leave it, who are also trash.) This is absolutely disgusting. This is what you're gonna see from the parking lot inwards: broken glass, cigarette butts, discarded toys, beer cans, styrofoam cups, used socks and underwear, used condoms, and much more. My 5 star rating is simply for the nature. If I could give a rating to the human garbage that turn this place into a cesspool, there's not a number low enough.

Warning: I live locally and have frequented these falls often. If I catch you leaving your waste I'm going to make you eat it. Pick it up and dispose of it properly like a...

Great place to hike for a few hours. The trail is short (about half mile) but can get steep and narrow. The swimming hole at the end of the trip is beautiful and deep enough for some jumping. There is a moderate amount of trash as everyone else has observed. It is a great idea to bring an extra trash bag and collect a little on the way out. There are restrooms at the beginning of the trail that are the old style concrete outhouses. Well worth the track in and out for the scenery and dip in the cold water. Don't forget $3 in cash to pay for the day use parking. If you bring a picnic there are plenty of tables at the parking area.
