Was absolutely great, my first time and obviously my 4y/o's as well I would have more photos but I let him pick the first trails to ride and of course they were way above his level TBH but he rode them like a champ at 4 and only got stuck twice all day. He would climb all the hills with hardly any issue but going down was his fear that's when I hooked him too a chain and would ease him down but next time we go I'll have a better setup to record whoever this little champ goes.

Beautiful park with the friendliest fulltimers that are so welcoming and kind to everyone lucky enough to find their way to the gem that is Minooka Park. There is so many trails to explore and the lake is so peaceful and zen. The Alabama sunrise and sunset can be seen perfectly from your camper anywhere in the park and once you've visited once you'll want to visit again ASAP because this place will steal your heart!

The Central Alabama Arts Alliance recently held the first Annual Minooka Art Walk at the very beautiful Minooka Park. We greatly appreciated the tremendous support we received from the County Commission, as well as from Donald and Kathy Giles and staff. You all assisted in making an already fun Visual and Musical Arts event even better! We are looking forward to hosting another Art Walk at Minooka Park in 2026!

We spent this Labor Day weekend at camping Minooka Park in our RV. One of our friends suggested it. We are from neighboring Autauga County and found the park to be very nice. The walking trail around the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. The entire park was family friendly. While we didn't have an ATV to enjoy the trails we did enjoy fishing in the lake, hiking and use of the RV park's full hook-ups. The staff was super friendly and the campground was clean. If I could make any suggestions for improvements to the park it would only be to add a play area near the RV park for children and possible convert one of the bathrooms to a bath/shower house. We have a small RV and while it does have an on board shower/tub we prefer to use the site facilities when we go camping. I feel that it would also be helpful for tent or campers w/o showers after a long dirty ATV ride. Other than that we loved our stay. The campground was quite and we loved the fact we could let our young daughter play and ride her bicycle and scooter without her getting out of our sight. Thanks to the staff for their warm smiles and...

We stayed here last October for 2 months while my wife was recovering from shoulder surgery in Hoover, Al ... The staff couldn't be nicer. Gerald, the park manager is friendly, knowledgeable and accomidating to special needs. The lake is beautiful, stocked with largemouth bass and bluegill, and campers are allowed to keep part of their catch. David, the Park Ranger is also very nice and helpful when we had a hornet problem. The staff that man the entrance gate are friendly and happy to direct new visitors to the campground and other ammenities. I highly recommend...
