This is a beautiful and neat little area. I was primarily there BBQing with friends. There are a few bridges you can cross to see many fun wildlife friends. When the sun was about to set, we wandered through some of the trails, finding a beautiful brown water snake, many toads, and a few fireflies. A bright pink sunset accompanied us while we headed back, which reflected off the water. Amazing. Am looking forward...

This place is sooo much bigger than you think... there's a few trails that lead back to the main road. Lots of pretty scenery! Great place to clear your mind! Not to mention you can fish here (mainly bass)!! It's a $5 daily fee and I think it's like $60 year round!! I know I enjoyed myself and I think you would too!! But please please please!!! Let keep our...

This place keeps improving. It’s better every time I come here. There are some nice camping spots with fire rings. There are a few nice ponds but many areas of the park are very swampy. You can watch the planes land from the nearby airport. There’s a historic bridge in the park and the second bridge going up right now. Nice place to take a walk...

Trails aren’t very long so we went down them twice. Ended up doing 2.6 miles. Luna also got to cool down in the creek. If you’re looking for a place near Tuscaloosa/Northport to get out and walk your dog, this is a really good option! I hate I didn’t know it was here before. It's listed as one of the oldest bridges, but it's been relocated to Northport. Great job preserving it. Beautiful park. There is a good sized alligator (about 8 foot) in the lake/pond, but I've never seen it close to the bridge. Just be aware of your surroundings. Great place for pictures.
