Bah African hair braiding LLC — Attraction in Alabaster

Unprofessional. This was my first time visiting at the recommendation of a friend. My appointment didn’t start until 3 hours after scheduled time (9:00 August 7) This wasn’t because they were busy working but because they “overslept”. I was quoted a price of $260 for large, waist length knotless braids but instead receive small box braids with unbraided ends. I was charged $360 for a style I didn’t want. Currently removing the style as I write this review.

UPDATE: Owner wants to lie under my review, if I didn’t have money, I wouldn’t book a service! Luckily, I recorded her phone conversation with her degrading her own employees and even agreeing the style did not look nice as well. I had no issue paying that price, but I would have at least liked to receive the style I asked for, not be up at almost 3:00 AM picking braids out of my hair. This has been my worst nightmare and I will be contacting the BBB first...

Schedule my daughter for a retwist she told me 2 . Came on time at 2 and she told me it would be 30 minutes more or she would call me and let me know . Came back a hour later and she still said we should come back . This is something that could have been said before our appointment or asked if we could schedule later . She took into no account of my plans or schedule . She was very nonchalant about it at all . This is my second time update really wanted to give them another try . She was a no show. My appointment was scheduled for 12pm at 12:04 she text me and stated you can reschedule, I texted back I was on my way she did not return my text. I arrived at her shop by 12:15 and she was not there. I texted her again and waited 30 minutes with another potential customer she never responded and to this day I still haven’t heard from her. This was very unprofessional. I have used her previously and was very pleased with her service so I don’t know what happened, but I will never go back to her after this experience.
