Unprofessional, Rude, Customer Service. I will not be returning to this store. I have tried to be patient and kind through their extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL care but FOUR TIMES is enough. I am taking my business to CENTRAL STATE, W&W and Tractor Supply. The extra mileage is worth being treated like a customer that is cared about, especially when it comes to HAY for my horses. I check my hay before I buy, as moldy wet hay can kill horses. I chose a round bale at Fort White Farm and Feed that was easily accessible (requiring 1 roll moved left) and all though not mint condition, was satisfactory "SAFE" for my horses. I was told by the owner and daughter that I am to take what they choose for me or don't buy it. The roll they wanted me to take had been exposed to rain, was black on the outer layers and smelled. I rapped my hand on the black blotches showing the owner the moldy clouds on the roll they were insisting I take for my horses, claiming "it was only a little dirty." I have had horses for 30 years and black dust coming off the roll in fine smokey puffs is MOLD and DEADLY to my horses. I again very nicely, tried to explain the danger of this hay for my horses and asked if they were serious. I was told "Ms Chris, Daddy says NO!, what part of No are you not listening to! We are not moving hay to accommodate anyone any more! You take what we load or you don't take it." At 65$ per 800lb moldy, dangerous, round bale for "cow hay" ... I am not doing it or risking my horses safety, which clearly they did not care about. This was not the first issue I have had with them about customer service and I am positive I am not the only one who has run into this problem with them as they indicated themselves when they said "not accommodating anyone anymore". If you are not concerned with the safety of your horses, customer service and being treated with respect as a customer, then continue to shop there. I,...

Read moreIf there was ever a business who deserves 5 stars it's Fort White Farm and Feed. Their hay in both square bales and round rolls have consistently been mold and weed free and we have been very happy to feed our horses their hay for the last 6 years and have never had a complaint about the quality. My husband has had horses for the last 65 years! I'd say he is extremely knowledgeable in the care of horses as all of ours are pleasantly fat, healthy, and happy. We have 20 horses currently and have had in our care over 60 at one time! Not only is their hay of great quality, their feed has also been consistently mold and crumble free. We have never had a problem that the very kind folks at Fort White Farm and Feed hasn't taken care of immediately. We've always received excellent customer service and they have gone above and beyond on many occasions for us. We are very blessed to have this wonderful business in our little community as they serve the needs of many types of farms and ranches....
