Outdoor Paint and Picnic & Event Space — Attraction in Alamo

Oh where do I begin! SOPHIA IS AMAZING!!! She is so funny, so kind & such a pure soul. Even without the fun time I had & the beautiful property we got to enjoy, I would go wherever Sophia is providing events! She is seriously such a delight. We had great conversations & she was cracking us up the whole time.

We went yesterday & it was my first time ever doing anything like this, although I do love to paint (never with acrylic before, so I was a bit nervous lol) but Sophia broke it down in steps that are understandable for even someone who has never touched a paint brush. So with her making it so understandable, it made me way less nervous & so I was able to focus on having FUN! She never rushed us, which meant a lot to me as I can get anxious if I think people are waiting on me.

The property was so peaceful & quiet, & so so beautiful! I wish I would have gotten a picture of what we walked up to, because I was so blown away. ITS SO GORGEOUS! I love that is outside but still covered.

Oh wait, did I mention what an AMAZING price it is to paint for 2 hours & have everything provided for you? The word deal is a understatement!

Wow! What an unforgettable experience at Paint and Picnic! I was planning my daughter’s 17th birthday and originally thought of doing a picnic with a “paint with me” activity. While searching for vendors, I came across Paint and Picnic and I’m so glad I did!

The website was easy to navigate, and everything was clearly laid out. I reached out to the owner, Sophia, and she responded quickly and answered all my questions. Booking was super easy, and once it was confirmed, everything was handled—setup, food, decor, and paint supplies!

The venue is absolutely beautiful—relaxing, cozy, and perfect for pictures. Sophia works with a small local vendor in Berkeley for food, and each sandwich was customized to our guests’ needs. I love that she supports small businesses!

The paint session was fun and easy to follow, and all the girls loved it. Sophia is kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating. I didn’t have to stress about a thing—just showed up and enjoyed the day.

We recently celebrated our friend’s birthday party at Paint and Picnic in Alamo, CA. We were a total of 9 people, it was a mother and daughter birthday paint party. It was such a fun and therapeutic experience. The venue was so beautiful and relaxing, we felt like we were sitting in a Napa Valley vineyard. When we came the tables were setup for us. We brought our own food and cake and the setup was very easy. We took a lot of beautiful pictures and there were stunning views from every angle of the large yard.

Sophia (Artist and Founder of Paint and Picnic) is a lovely person. She was very patient and thorough with us. She was painting with us and gave each of us individual attention. Everything was socially distant and set up so that we were able to maintain socially distant.

Sophia was very accommodating. We found our own image to paint and Sophia made that happen for us. We all ended up with beautiful paintings.
