Had the luck to be in town for the White Sands Balloon Invitational. The weather was amazing and perfect for the balloons to go up.

This was amazing! The locals clearly know to bring a chair and snacks. It's so cool to watch the balloons be inflated and go up. There were also free quick rides for those who signed up on the list. It wasn't a full ride in the balloon...a quick up in the air and back again. All the same, this would be great for anyone.

Came here for the balloon festival, but the show cancelled at the last minute, due to the weather condition. Environment-wise, it's fine.
