Tried to go for a walk in the woods today... that did not work. Within 300 feet of the parking lot, I slid on a huge pile of dog poop in the middle of the trail. the amount of dog poop on the ground is astounding! I counted over 17 piles of dog poop left on the trail within 300ft of the parking lot. After sliding on the poop I walked in the grass to get it off where I was again smeared with more poop hidden in the grass up the side of my shoe and pants! This is absolutely disgusting. There is a children's playground within 200 feet of all this poop! Are you really ok with your kids around all that bacteria. And dogs off thier leashes! Almost every dog off thier leash. Some of us are not ok with dogs! There are leash laws for a reason. Bad dog owners make it unsafe for some of us to even enjoy these trails. Please send someone from the parks and recreations to investigate all of this. It's unsafe and...

This would be a great park, if it was not for all the people violating the law! I saw about 20 off leash dogs within being there for 30 minutes. Signs were clearly posted at the entrace to leash your dog, as well as during the trail. Fines can be up to $1000 or 12 months imprisonment. Not to mention personal law suits if the violators uncontained animals were to chase/pursue/injure/kill another walkers dog/wildlife/ or human being. I would not recommend this trail because of this. Unsafe for non law breaking citizens. Please leash your dog, follow the law, it exists for a reason. To protect others, the wildlife, and make it an enjoyable...

Held our wedding here last Saturday..the event and location was beautiful. Mosquitoes were bad in the spot we held the ceremony but that was lack of planning on our end. They cleaned the port-a-potty the day of, so nice all day. The trash cans were large. The grills were helpful, and very large parking lot. Other people were very rude about our reservation of the park, repeatedly bothering us rudely- one lady even cursed at my underage sister who tried to just let her know we had reserved the park..loss of a star for that but that's more on the people...

I took my reactive dog here to see if the park had any secluded trails to get away from fast-paced, populated environments. Luckily, we found a trail that’s along side the playground and left baseball field. It’s quite long, very quiet, & the visibility is good (I’d still be somewhat loud to make your presence known). There’s also a field on the left side of the parking lot where you can run around with your pet. I like taking him here when I can!
