Balto Seppala Park — Attraction in Alaska

Good clean fun. Though it would be even better with a slide. On the other hand, it is conveniently next to a perfect sledding hill. It has some wooded area with trails that are fun to adventure in. Especially fun for kids that like to explore, in a fairly open area with trees. My Personal favorite part, is the free book share library that is there and a portapotty! This is a nice large park with lots of open Green space, including so nice little hills that are fun to sled on in the winter and just walk around in the summer. There's plenty of room for big groups, a playground area, picnic tables and some nice wood surrounding the whole part. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the playground and seating areas are located right next to Minnesota drive, and the traffic noise...

Plenty of parking between the two parking lots (one off Wisconsin St. & one off Milky Way Dr.). Grass is kept mowed by the city which is nice. There are also stations for getting waste bags to help you clean up after your pets, as well as waste baskets to dispose of them. In wintertime the hill there is great for sledding on snowy days.
