The whole place was great. Despite many vehicles including several buses it never felt crowded. Most of the critters come out and can be seen. Some, like the bears, you might have to wait for but your entry fee gives you the whole day. I was able to wait until the bears came out or go get pictures at other enclosures. AND... don't be the jerk who yells at the animals or howls at the wolves.

Beautiful location with so many animals. We loved the Bison project to build their population back and excited to see the new addition of the ocean center. We were sad we couldn't see the brown bear or the black bear, but definitely understand that they have big areas to roam and greatful for the animals we could see.

We visited the wildlife conservation center between anchorage and seward. I really enjoyed seeing all the animals. It's a really nice facility.I would definitely walk instead of drive. It was very enjoyable. They're building a new lookout point for the beluga whales.

First time to Alaska so we took the time to go site seeing. Bison hall was a good choice. First, it's only an hour from Anchorage. Second, the drive down is beautiful so that 1 hour ride took over 2 hours. Great outdoor facility with animal enclosures. Took a funny photo of a black bear in a dead tree. Gift shop available....
