Awesome trip. Parked the ship in the bay for several hours and we were able to see the glacier calving. Taking a cruise from Alaska to Portland is definitely worth the money. Had lots of really interesting stops and day excursions. We rented a car and took a day trip up to Whitehorse, and also a helicopter ride onto a glacier. Saw some wildlife, female bear with two cubs and moose. Grizzly bear was viewed in a large enclosure.

This was the coolest cruise excursion we have ever done. I realize it was pricey but wow was it worth it. We got to see a glacier calving, navigate around bergy bits, have drinks made with glacier ice (who needs an ice maker out here?!), and hold a piece of an iceberg. All of these are experiences we could NEVER have in the lower 48. This was an Alaskan experience we will never forget.
