Most say save the best for last, but I say why wait for the best. Triple Point Expeditions (TPX) is the best and exactly why I chose it for my first time heli-ski dream trip. Tucker and his entire TPX team are top of the line and top flight on every turn in their operation from the lodge to the mountains! [ski puns intended] Although a life time skier, I had never been skiing like this before and, at first, felt it would be way above my skill set. TPX put my experience and safety as a top priority. I was fortunate to ski with every guide while here and each one bestowed positivity and confidence that kept me going on run after run of a lifetime. The terrain that TPX can access is jaw dropping and seems to be endless. But each time TPX picked the best of the best for that day. The small group size, expert guides, and exceptional piloting made us very nimble to find the best. Everyone else in my group, who had been heli-skiing many times and many places, reaffirmed that I made the right choice going with TPX. Back at the lodge and after a hot tub, sauna, and a cold plunge, I didn’t need any encouragement to go back for seconds after clearing my plate of the delicious dinner and dessert night after night to refill my calories burned that day. I rarely eat breakfast at home, but could not skip one of the breakfasts on this trip! While breakfast and dinner could not be beat, lunch on the mountain was a treat to its own. It was an opportunity each day to take a moment and soak in the beautiful mountains that we were able to ski that day while having a catered lunch in the wilderness. I didn’t save the best for last, but this won’t be my last. As Tucker would say, don’t ski it if you can’t see it. I will be going back to see it and ski it!! Alaska is a very special place in our world and, to my amazement, TPX was able to make it even more special. Big thank you to team TPX for making dreams come true! Powder Pete

A nimble small group experience focused first and foremost on the skiing. With Alaska, the fear is getting up there only to spend most of your time waiting out weather. With only 8 guests at a time and multiple mountain ranges available, TPX maximizes your chances of great skiing, even in tricky weather conditions. The guides are top notch veterans, including multiple certified mountain guides. Tucker, the owner, is right in the mix - and has experience running this operation for TGR athletes. On top of that, the food was out of this world. Probably the best I've eaten ever in my life. You come for the skiing, but the amenities and vibes are there too.

A world class operation. Tucker and his crew are the utmost professionals — complete attention to detail, with a model that makes the true Alaska big mountain ski experience safe and accessible to guests with a range of abilities. If you are going to take one heli ski trip in your life, Triple Point delivers that unforgettable experience. Beyond the incredible terrain, food, lodging, camaraderie and skiing, we got to spend a week with an olympic ski coach as our guide … all the words in the world cannot describe the trip, just go live it!!!

Highly recommend TPX. I spent a lot of time researching AK heli ski operators before settling on TPX and I couldn't be happier that I picked TPX. TPX differentiates itself with a small group approach (8 guests total in 2 groups in 1 bird), primary focus on intense skiing (they will find terrain that challenges even the best skiers without ever making anyone uncomfortable), community lodge experience where you get to know the other guests and staff, and a phenomenal chef (who has worked in three Michelin star kitchens and was twice nominated for a James Beard award). Proximity to Anchorage is a logistical advantage. Many of the other guests I skied with had been coming back for years, and had also tried other operators. All of them agreed that TPX was the best product...
