Great hike for this area. Not many mountains to climb that are close by and this one suffices for average views and nice moderate hike. I highly recommend doing the Appalachian trail from the skyline trail to hawk mountain road. The viewpoints are nice and plentiful and provides nice spots for peace and quiet or a good lunch. It is unfortunate that you cannot park here for a sunrise or sunset hike. Also $10 is a bit steep for this hike but again, there aren't really many better...
