A pleasant surprise and still accessible even in the winter ❄️🥶. The bridge is closed to vehicle traffic in the winter but you can walk across it and access the trails, especially if you want to go cross country skiing. Observing the moving and frozen Swift River with its photographic views actually made me wish I had more time to explore the area even though it was 14° and it would occasionally snow 🌨️. There is a "bathroom" available and the parking 🅿️ lot was plowed with plenty of parking spaces. People were having fun and two men were 🫸 pushing each other into the snow ❄️! There is a fishing 🎣 pier nearby but it is drydocked in the winter. You will have to pay for parking 🅿️ when the area reopens. There's a small river which runs below the bridge and it's very clean. So please maintain the cleanliness here... The only thing is there's no food place nearby so you'll need to carry your food here if thinking of spending a day...the Boulder trail is nearby ...it will take 3 hours to complete the entire trail.
