K and S farm is an amazing little place to stop. As soon as we pulled in Sue and Karl made us feel right at home. She gave us a tour and taught us so much about the different plants and animals on their property. Do you know where loofas come from? You will after a stop here! The kids all got to eat raspberry’s off the bush and feed the animals on the farm. A friendly potbellied pig named Winston was more than happy to eat all the animal crackers he could get his snout on. The tour ends in a small lavender shop where you can purchase homemade honey sticks, lavender products, and other little treasures. We showed up approximately 40 minutes before closing & she still took time to show us everything! From Lavender to the most precious animals (Winston, Gordy, Kaleb etc.) We learned about Loofahs, bees, birds the green house. The homemade wonderful soaps, lotions, chapstick & more she sells are reasonably priced & so nice! All to promote knowledge & for donations! I recommend anyone go visit, men, women, kids really...

Karl gave a wonderful, FREE (donations are accepted), and interactive tour of the farm and got us up close and personal with the animals. We anticipated paying steep prices in the shop but were delighted to find that they were better-then-reasonably priced. They have something for everyone.
