Let me start by saying the food was 5 star. But this review goes beyond just the food. When visiting a place to review I look at several areas that add to the overall review. We frequent places and have eaten at establishments from Alaska to Exuma Bahama. We have eaten many brunches along the way. The food at Juneberry ranked right at the top. I did my research on Juneberry so I had very high expectations. Those expectations were not met. When we arrived at the Lakeview and entered, we thought we were walking into a private event. There was no one to greet us. We had no idea where to sit. We had purchased our tickets online so we assumed someone would be there to check our names against a list and there wasn’t. No one ever approached us. We ended up asking the gentleman making omelets and he said just grab a plate and sit. We went through the buffet and at the end of it we ordered an omelet. We didn’t know if we should wait for it, sit and they’d bring it to us, or if we’d have to go back up to get it. After sitting we still were never approached. We got up and went to the drink station. We got our coffee and a sweet tea. The tea was excellent. After sitting and eating no one ever approached for a refill. Typically a place that caters in the way Juneberry does that should be expected. What was extremely disappointing and this is for the low rating. We observed family members of employees as well as employees being catered to. Multiple trips to the kitchen for fresh coffee for one gentleman and not even an offer to refill ours from the drink station. After finishing my plate no one offered to take the empty plate. After about 15 minutes I went back to the buffet. When I returned to my table my plate had been picked up along with silverware. No one offered new silverware. The basket that had silverware when we entered was now empty. Ended up sharing a spoon with my wife. Overall I have to give it two stars for the following. Starting at 5 I will take one away for service. It was basically non existent unless your family of an employee or are an employee. I also take one away for the lack of Information about the property. I would take another away for not being greeted but i will lump that in with service. Juneberry is doing amazing things and no one there to talk about it. Will we be back? Yes. And I hope in reading this that this promotes change and puts focus beyond the food. Juneberry has a lot...

PROS: Awesome people who provided great service, from our host Mike, to John and Audrey with their informative tours of the farm and hydroponic greenhouses, to the dining staff, and the creative chef. Carla’s yoga sessions were excellent, accommodating all ages/abilities. (I am sorry if I missed a name or two, but they were all so happily friendly and helpful!). Beautiful setting with extensive forest trails. Cabins are lovely, comfortable and roomy (kitchenette, screened porch, large bed, …..) Food was stellar - tasteful, creative, and plentiful, with excellently paired wines. (I was surprised to find I had not gained a pound or two or ten, but it was also so healthy!). Meeting lovely people who are also there to share the experience. All inclusive - no tipping. CONS: You will not get any work done! PROS: You will not get any work done! Turn your phone off and just relax. SUGGESTIONS: Try everything. Hunter’s Curried Rabbit with Rabbit Liver Risotto? Delicious! Forest Bathing? Healing. Leave your phone/devices in the cabin. Take pictures with your eyes and mind and they will be more plentiful and last longer. Finally, research the amazing woman responsible for this amazing project! I have immense...
Read moreWe had the most unforgettable weekend at Juneberry Ridge, and it deserves every bit of a 5-star review! Honestly, I almost didn’t want to share this because it feels like one of the best kept secrets around. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and absolutely breathtaking.
We attended the Regenerative Farm Stay weekend, and every single detail was thoughtfully curated. The activities were a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, reflection and learning—we found ourselves fully immersed in the beauty of the land and the philosophy behind regenerative living. The food was fresh, delicious, and locally inspired, making each meal an experience in itself. The team at Juneberry Ridge couldn’t have been more gracious; they made us feel cared for and right at home.
What stood out most was the overall energy of the place. There’s something restorative about being there—the combination of nature, sustainability, and community creates a feeling you can’t really capture in words. It’s the kind of weekend that leaves you both recharged and inspired.
If you’re looking for a getaway that’s unique, uplifting, and far beyond the ordinary, Juneberry Ridge is it. We can’t recommend it enough and are already...
