Bancroft Bay Park — Attraction in Albert Lea

"Tall grass" bottom course has some areas that are a bit overgrown and could use some trimming here and there. Its honestly one of my favorite courses to throw. Top course oak island has been kept very clean and I'm very impressed by the love both these courses receive, people have done an excellent job with picking up their garbage. Highly recommend top course to more advanced players, bottom course is a mixture between advanced and intermediate, still a challenging course though, especially on the back 9 during...

Clean, beautiful park... plenty of golfs, picnic benches, well trimmed grass... My only concern is the lake.

There's a very strong sewage-like smell, shells of past snails scatter the edges of the entire lake, found the skeleton of a dead fish, algae absolutely choking the lake (top and bottom), not even the frogs want to go in.
