As A commercial mushroom farmer, I depend on the quality of products and on time product availability I have found through this supplier. I have found that my chefs, CSA farmers and the public. All prefer the ALL LOCAL materials in which the farm utilizes within its grow kits. Being able to provide organic, local based mushrooms to my clients has been a major sales point for generating sales. My young children love going to fungi farms! We were in town for a family wedding and found this place just around the corner. Staff were awesome and told us all about how they package their mushroom blocks and showed us all the racks full they had. We loved it so much we went back the next day for a foraging hike and it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had! Irresponsible! They hosted a fungi hike, illegally picking mushrooms, encouraging others to do so, leave the trails, and then gave mixed signals about eating random mushrooms. Horribly planned event that could have so easily been a nice experience if they capped it at a reasonable size. Their greed led to over 50 people on a narrow trail, putting humans and habitat at risk. Don’t trust them...
