We love this park. We spent time in our first date here, walking around the lake. I have also fished, taken senior photos, and taken the baby used to nanny here. We came her when I was a senior in high school for a field trip here as well. It is great for kids, fishing, walking, and even hiking (trails). You might even see a couple of white horses, as there is a farm the butts up against the property line. On Halloween, the Campbell country high school NHS club does a Halloween walk every year, where they try to scare you all around the lake. It has jungle gyms, play ground, wooden play ship, soccer and baseball fields, a shelter, a deck and bridges to walk over, picnic areas, Frisbee golf goals, and a portapotty by the shelter, and permanent bathrooms by the play ground. It's nice a...

It's a nice place. I think since they're using stuff, they should consider ceiling fans. I know for a fact that many other parks have this luxury. They also need to fix their electricity because there is either a short in it or it's faulty. Either one is bad and dangerous. They should also consider some kind of drop shade just on the one side with the lake to help prevent the sun from coming in and making it too hot for the elderly and infants that attend the gatherings held there. One big must is to clear out the hives and spider webs even under the tables. I know nature is hard to control, but putting some kind of effort...

Great place to go fishing (catch and keep and it tells you how many fish you can keep on the signs) and take walks with pets or by yourself. The playground equipment is fairly new. There's no boats allowed on the water and no biking around the lake. There's a baseball field the has games but not all the time and there's a basketball court that a little broken. There's also frisbee golf that's a little overgrown. (I dont suggest taking expensive frisbee golf disks there because they are easy...

All the parks in Campbell County are really nice and this one is REALLY nice because it has a big playground and lots of places to take nice pictures and a big trail and a nice pond with fish, and the people there are always really friendly, and there are always dogs there. There's also the bonus that there are signs that guide you to the park from Main Street, so it's pretty easy to find. Definenty one of my friends and i's favorite places to go.

We parked in the 1st small lot on the left, many young ball players with parents looking for parking spots. Next time we will go straight down the hill by the lake. Smaller park but A nice place to walk around a lake. Very busy on a weekend day with many people fishing. Needs a little upkeep work but it’s early in the season. My two big dogs met a few human, and dog friends. Saw turtles!
