What a great beautiful place. The owners were great to talk to and the atmosphere was amazing. We could have spent much more time there. We live about 10 hours from there so we can't frequent the place BUT we did sample all their mead they had to offer AND they SHIP!!!!! I'm pretty sure I didnt have a bad mead. Sure I loved some more than others but to each their own taste. It was a very quaint place. Loved it!! We will be back whenever our ventures take us in that direction. Please keep making delicious mead and we look forward to ordering online and having it shipped. Thank you for following your passion and dream so people like us get to enjoy the rewards of your labor. I can't say enough. It was a gem to find. The beauty is in the details! This place has so many details!! Let’s start with location and parking. You get to take a very short day trip and get out to the countryside. The tasting room is in a barnlike structure with an easily accessible large parking lot down a gravel drive a short distance off the paved roads to get here. Entering the structure you enter another realm. The music, the games, the names of the meads, the items for sale, and the decor adds to the beauty of the meads. The balance of modern conveniences and the step out of reality is perfect . Allfather’s Meadery is absolutely worth the trip! The drive out is a little remote, but that just adds to the charm—it’s scenic and beautiful; and, when you arrive, you’re welcomed into a warm, cozy, and very clean cabin.

The staff are wonderfully friendly. I love that you can bring your own food if you want, but they also offer some amazing touches—freshly baked sourdough with flavored butters, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and even packaged pretzels. Such thoughtful details make the whole experience even better.

Their attention to branding and product presentation is top-notch, and the flights were so much fun to try. The selection is wide, creative; and, honestly, I haven’t had a single mead I didn’t like.
