Celebration Park in Allen, Texas, is an absolute gem for families with kids! From the moment you arrive, you can feel it’s designed with families in mind. The highlight is definitely KidMania, one of the largest and most impressive playgrounds in the area. It’s fully accessible and packed with slides, tunnels, climbing structures, and endless opportunities for imaginative play—our kids could easily spend hours here without getting bored!
Right next to the playground is the splash pad (KidMania Sprayground), which is perfect for hot Texas days. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of shaded seating nearby for parents to relax while the kids cool off.
The park itself is massive and beautifully maintained, with walking trails, wide open fields, sports courts, and picnic areas—great for birthday parties or family get-togethers. We especially love how everything feels safe and family-friendly, and there’s plenty of space even on busy weekends.
If you’re looking for a park where kids can run wild, play safely, and have a blast while parents enjoy the outdoors too, Celebration Park is one of the best places around. Highly recommend for a fun and active...
Read moreVery spacious and entertains the whole the family. Large Clean restrooms. My only gripe is if you have toddlers the park has no separation of age level for the play areas so larger kids run around with abandonment due to excitement of how large the place is. The playground, Kids-mania, turns into an obstacle course for parents to run and chase after their toddlers. I’ve had to hunker low under bridge ways, whiz down narrow slides, wiggle around 9 year olds blocking the entryways, tip toe over the carnage of fallen toddlers all the while having my arms outstretched like Frankenstein preparing myself for any spontaneous leaping off high fireman poles just to finally catch up with my own two toddlers that seemed to enjoy making me sweat as a parent. I lost 2 pounds, and gained high blood pressure after our 3-hour play time. 6/10 workout. Would not do it again until my toddlers are old enough to defend themselves in the Thunder-dome that is this park. Beautiful place for a stroll and picnic...
Read moreVery nice park, but the water splash pad is CLOSED on Wednesdays "for maintenance." I didn't see any maintenance going on, though, other than someone striping the fields with a chalk line machine. The restrooms were in good condition. The playground was in good condition. The water fountains need service. One is backed up, and the other is warm. People were washing articles of clothing in it. Yuck. They need a washing station (garden hose) somewhere for that! Or go to the bathrooms! My kid really enjoyed the plastic slides on the playground (versus metal, which gets way hotter, faster!), and the smooth grass (huge play yard/field. kids were riding bikes, running, and playing with toy water rockets and RC helicopters.) I felt the park was safe and attractive, with no one playing violent "music" (aka rap) and no shady people hanging around. Lots of fast food in the area such as World Burrito,...
