Update: now that I have toddlers, the park is still good but not necessarily "the best". The lower play area has multiple places where small children could fall from great heights. But it still a really good park and will grow with us as our small family grows. The upper playground is more tailored for smaller children, but it does not provide many opportunities for group play as it's not very busy. The outdoor gym adjacent to this playground is nice though for parents.
Original review: 3 yrs ago (5 stars): Best park in the area because it has a little bit of everything.
Multiple play grounds for the younger children. Basketball, baseball and tennis for older. Flat areas and hills. The hills are well used in winter for sledding. Secluded areas for romantic walks but also open walking paths. Beautiful sights all year round if you like photography. And the pond with its little bridge where you can watch or...
Β Β Β Read moreIt has been over 40 years since I went here and stopped and walked around. Basketball, tennis, it was full of smiles and happiness as a family of all kinds just having fun. It made me smile, Alliance. Great memories of childhood. The Jaycee fireworks on the 4th. I remember watching them in great awe and excitement. Then, we'd walk home. Excitement is still in our heads as we try to sleep from the dopamine still rushing in our brains. Magical Silver Park they should call it. (We even walked on the island in the middle. We were kids!) I only took a few pictures for my nostalgia got the better of me. What a great park to have in your city. Cudos to all the groundskeep and to all of the Silver Park employees. You made my visit magical. My lifetime of Silver Park filled my life with respect and diversity. I miss Ohio, but I'll never forget who...
Β Β Β Read moreI love Silver Park. There are three pavilions down below and a couple little ones above. There are two parks. One being for toddlers and one being for more grown kids. There is a pond with huge gold fish, some are 3 feet or larger. There are ducks u can feed. U can bring ur own bread or they have feeder machines u can put money in and get duck food from. In our city we have days in the park week where there's multiple vendors and we have our local fireworks here. They're usually pretty big. It's one of the cornerstones in Alliance. There are public restrooms and during city events they put up temporary restrooms. It's a great place for children, families, and singles to meet and have fun. We personally hold our family reunions here. U can reserve and rent the pavilions and sometimes there's live music in the stadium. I...
