Really nice place we went fishing and had fun besides for this guy coming and being very rude to me and my kids about taking fish home with us we took one large mouth bass and 4 catfish he was mad about it and yelling and say cuss words at us was not a very fun time after that someone needs to get that guy out of there and not let him come back he was rude to a guy and his son there to sad world that we live in just wanted to take my family out for a nice day of fishing and the guy dumped fish into the pond from another pond around the area called orchard pond guy said he is on the fishing board or something like that but it's very against all state laws to dump fish from one pond to another hope no one else has this same problem...
Read moreWent tent camping for a weekend at Wilder Park. The tent sites were a bit wet due to some rain, but the camp host was very accommodating and switched us over to some dryer sites. Tent sites aren't too far from the bathrooms/showers. There was ample shade, which was nice. Tent sites have a firepit and a picnic table. The park overall was very nice with plenty of activities for everyone. The tent sites are primitive-no electric or water at the sites. The camp host came down on the golf cart pretty often to check in. The park has firewood there that is available with a freewill donation, and bags of ice for sale near the camp host's RV. Great...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here in July. This place is beautiful! There are lots of established trees, walking and cycling paths. There are park benches that surround the lake and a beautiful two level area with wooden loveseat swings to sit, rock and enjoy the views. Picnic tables are thoughtfully placed throughout the park. We camped here one night but this place left a lasting impression. Did I mention how clean and well maintained this place is?
