Mixed feelings about this. I remember when I was free to ride my old Yamaha Enduro down to the beach through this land. Cerebrally, I know this is better for everyone, to be able to share this beautiful place, without the beer cans, and toilet paper everywhere. Read moreGreat place to visit if you are interested in a quiet and secluded beach day! While it does take about 40 minutes to hike to the beach, it is well worth the gorgeous Lake Superior views! The beach has some sand near the top but close to the water it is larger pebbles. Not sure what other days are like, but the waves were huge today and it seemed like there was an undertoe so we avoided going more than knee deep in the water....
