Very nice hike! The trail head is up a rough dirt road, though a Civic was parked in the lot so it's possible with a sedan. I had no issues in our Armada. There is some sweet campsites along the cliff tops. Hike had some trash along it, but not ridiculous amounts. The falls have a nice swimming hole at the bottom. Going down the river is some good bouldering and a few small caves to explore. No trash cans, so pack in and pack out. Also bring your own water, as there is no facilities of any sort. We visited on a busy holiday weekend and there was still only a hand full of people around.

Great hike. Make sure you wear you trail shoes as the hike is pretty muddy and slick at places. There are 2 ways to do this hike. If you go straight, thats the counter clockwise route. It will take u to a steep incline. Else u can go clockwise to see the waterfall first. You just need to follow orange/pink ribbons on the trail which will take u off the main trail and around rocks to the 1st falls. Generally secluded and a great place to spend the afternoon.

This trail is accessed via a dirt road that most normal cars probably won't make it through, so people park either close to the main road or halfway through before the extreme road conditions start. But when you are out there exploring, you are introduced to beautiful cliff views of the valley with hidden waterfalls tucked away along the trail.

Very muddy and rutted out from trucks and jeeps. Even when it's no longer muddy, I probably wouldn't drive my car back out there again. I made it out to the very small parking area (6 vehicles max) in my small car but was stressed the entire time. There's an abandoned car in a big puddle further down the "road". Park at the road and hike in. Waterfall was very beautiful and worth the hike but if you go right at the fork (with a small fallen down pine) to make the loop, it's not super well marked. Went a long time without a pink trail tag. Left at the fork will get you to the waterfall faster. Trail is really narrow with a lot of poison ivy. Long pants and bug spray...

This is a VERY rewarding adventure! If you hike down the stream from the first falls (most call this one Junior), it is also a very rugged adventure. It is climbing over, through, and around huge boulders almost the entire way to the falls people call Senior. However, there is another trail that isn’t as hard that will take you to the Senior falls. You just miss some beautiful secondary falls. I’m pushing 60 yrs old. A young person may not have as much difficulty. It was worth the trip. But by the time I got back to the truck I...
