My husband and I did the taste testing. The staff was polite. The only downfall we felt was when we were doing the wine tasting the amount the man gave was roughly a tablespoon(only a sip) in the wine glass, so I felt that there wasn’t enough in the glass to make a good call on a good flavor I wanted. I also suggest that it would be nice to have a sign “lit up” as being open or closed- as the little one on the door- is hard to see from the road and isn’t lit. We will definitely go back again- and make purchases.

Lovely staff. Very easy to access in a 5th wheel. Fruit wines, Sangrias and Mead. Fantastic. Very comfortable tasting. Biggest asset is the staff.

Very nice people, marvelous elderberry wine (!), and very quiet stay even with the convenient proximity to I-70 !

Bottom line stay away...

The elderberry semi sweet and the other sweet wines are horrible, but the elderberry dry reserve is really really good...

And that was when I tasted it but when I bought a bottle and opened it a couple of weeks later it was spoiled don't know why, in face all 3 wines That I bought were spoiled and not good, I don't think it has to do with me I kept it at a fairly stable temperature....

So if you like spoiled wine I suppose that's the place for you.

Also I had to respond to someone who mentioned that they specialize in elderberry wine, yes that's true, and I know that; because I've been to there location in St Joseph, but this year 2015 there elderberry wine was...

We went to the location on Maple Street in Wichita. Just a day prior, I spoke with a very friendly lady on the phone who made me aware of the Maple Street location. We talked about mulled spice wine, which my wife and I always enjoyed while living in Germany. We had a great conversation and I found her very friendly. Then we get to Maple Street. The lady behind the counter wasn't rude or impolite, but one got the feeling she didn't want to be there. We asked to try 2 different wines and she obliged. But there was no friendly chitchat or smiles and we were the only customers in the place. But we did buy wine, but we did miss the...

Lovely place. Quite commercial in its great size, offerings, and organization, but folksy and friendly. It's like knowing somebody who runs a winery. They should raise their prices because they are too cheap! I bought four bottles of wine and a wine slushie for only $70 and it's really good stuff. They let you taste whatever you want. I got cherry, elderberry, jalapeno wines, plus a bottle of elderberry mead that I haven't tried. They have a rustic wine arbor thing where you can sit for a bit, plus some funny signs you can pose with in the parking lot. It's a very friendly place and I highly...
