29th Street Farm Stand — Attraction in Almena Township

I am excited every year to come back for our pumpkins. They provide the true spirit of the experience back when many places are becoming over-commercialized and expensive. We discovered it by accident in 2014 when taking our son out for his first year of pumpkins. He loved his pumpkin so much that we kept it until it was completely dried up and looked like a prune. We've been going to the 29th Street Farm Stand for a few years. They have the best produce, unbelievably wonderful herbs, great prices, and they're always warm and friendly! They're selling Leduc's strawberries right now and I just prepped 3 quarts of them. Not a single bad berry in the bunch -- I've never had that happen before! Do I love this place! All sorts of homegrown produce in just that- day-picked status for freshness! I used their kale for my cucumber sandwich instead of lettuce and it was wonderful. It isn't hard to find, and I intend to be back soon. I bought some of the many fresh veggies they offered. These are true gardeners! Bypass the grocery stores...
