Arzo Amusement Park — Attraction in Alpena Township

I'm a newly local again after being away for 13 years.

I had plans to take my daughter downstate for Legoland and Sealife, and last minute car trouble changed that plan. In a last minute attempt to find ANYTHING to make her day special I called out to Arzo Amusement Park to find out our options there. Daniella (hope i got that right) was IMMEDIATELY helpful. Eagerly offering to accommodate us in any way they could. Offering problem solving if we took cake there (though we decided to do late cake after)... assured me that she'd be there and she'd take care of us when we got there, and she made good on her word for sure!

(Even boosting the "birthday girl" in every opportunity to see us she found)

The rest of the staff were equally WONDERFUL! They were kind and patient with our group (and the kids kept them busy for sure!). We had 5 kids (from age 4 to 16) an 18 yr old, and 4 adults... everyone had a great time celebrating my daughters 9th birthday!

Even when my daughter proved to be a pretty awful go kart driver (hitting the wall more than once...last one pretty hard) and attendant had to revoke her driving privileges... She was embarrased and very upset.. refusedto join her big brother, and came to cry... The attendant came and checked on her and apologized for upsetting her but ... safety first... and sincerely wished her a happy birthday... (very sweet to check on her and apologize for wishing her a happy birthday after having to upset her lol.)

She recovered slowly at first, but the sweet young man who had us most of the day was VERY patient with the next 2 stops (including a bumper car sesh with 3 stop and restart shuffles... a swap for places, a brief tiff about who shuffled in with an adult.... because... kids. And my daughter... not a natural driver there either 😅). This sweet kid never once rolled his eyes, got bossy, nothing. SO patient. Really impressive!

Truly.. they were wonderful.

Plenty to do. Kids had a blast. Professional friendly staff.

Arzo Sports and Fun Park is an excellent place for family fun and entertainment! They have so much there in a little area and they seem to expand every year! They have great rides including a Ferris Wheel, bumper cars, go-karts, mini golf, batting cages with everything from softball, slow, medium and fast pitch, for baseball, a beautiful driving range, an amazing arcade room and an all new ride this year called a Sky High Bungy! The Sky High Bungy has a set of bungee's that come down and hook up on either side of a harness that the rider is safely secured into. The rider is then lifted into the air as they jump on a trampoline and can do sky high jumps and flips in the air! The staff is also very professional and courteous, and willing to help out very promptly. The owner is also willing to accomodate guests with special pricing for large groups and/or parties. We need to spread the word for this amazing little park with a big heart! I highly...

I recently visited Arzo Park for my birthday and it was the most memorable birthday. They had huge picnic tables available where we could eat and all the staff members were wishing me a happy birthday. I’ve been to several amusement parks (big and small), but the service that we got at this park was remarkable. They definitely made me and my family feel special. It’s quite obvious that the owner gives extra attention to the presentation of the park as the miniature golf is immaculate. Anyways, I recommend this park especially if your birthday is coming up, they have great birthday packages, especially if you’re going to go with a large group. Great prices, amazing staff and superb rides/activities. Can’t wait to see how big this park is going to get in...
