This winery is located in Cleveland, Georgia outside of the busyness of tourists in Dahlonega. During a couple's annual trip, this was our second stop. As you walk up to the door, expect to be greeted by the sound of jazz being played by a small band right outside the door. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, the staff was very accommodating since we arrived 1 1/2 hours earlier than our reservation. They squeezed us in with no problem. We received our wine and sat outside underneath the trees. They have plenty of seating on the property so we were able to sit, relax and enjoy an afternoon of conversation, wine and the beautiful views of the vineyard for several hours, we didn't want to leave it was that relaxing especially with the band playing smooth jazz in the background. It was such a relaxing day, this will definitely be our go to spot when we visit again next year.
Update 7/20/24 - another great year celebrating love at our 4th couples weekend, this is our third time visiting this Winery and it is our go to spot when we are in Dahlonega for our weekend. We had so much fun, loved the Peach frozen drink and my husband love the frozen blueberry drink. We always enjoy our time here relaxing under the trees, the grounds are beautiful and engaging in conversation while taking in the views is a must. The ladies are really sweet and very accommodating and helpful with recommending...
Read moreI definitely don’t recommend going out of your way to come here. My experience here this afternoon was very shocking especially after reading the other reviews. In fact, I drove an hour to spend the afternoon here and wish I hadn’t have. When I got to the tasting room, it was raining. The ordering is done outside through a window but I asked if I could sit inside where it was dry. I was told yes. Then, I ordered a cheese plate and a glass of wine. When I went to go sit down inside, I was told that seating was outside only. Obviously this isn’t what I have just been told and it was wet outside due to rain. The weirdest thing was that other people were actually sitting inside already, but there were only two occupied tables of about 10. The guy playing music was really kind and actually ended up telling me it was totally fine to go inside. After my food didn’t come and 45 minutes have passed, I spoke to a lady who told me she was the owner to let her know I was still waiting for it. Her response was “sometimes you have to remind us.” The weird thing was that’s exactly what I was doing yet she didn’t seem to plan to do anything about it like going to take care of it or apologize. Overall, a very weird and uncomfortable experience. I will say that my glass of wine was very good and the...
Read moreWe have been here 20+ times over last 2 years. I thought I had already left a review...sorry. This is such a great winery. Tastings are fun. Wine is great and the people....just awesome. Literally every single person who we have encountered. The owners, their children. The bartendreses, even the musicians. All are so incredibly nice. Personable, informative. I can't stress how nice and pleasant. The wines are really, Really good. Great selection of dry reds, whites, sweets. Cab franc and cab sauv are excellent. Chamborcin is my favorite, very rich. Several whites give a good selection to the reds. But sometimes you have that sweet dessert tooth. They have those as well, a sweet peach and a sweet blueberry are great. Top it off with locally sourced bread. A selection of bites and charcuterie, you will enjoy a quaint inside seating with the bar, a very generous outdoor seating area, covered seating or Docks place indoor seating. CeNita is easily one of the very best wineries and tastings...
