Great park! Pickle balls courts, amazing playground, and plenty of open space to run, fly kites, run up and down hills, have a quick pick-up game of basketball on their court or a get together under their shelter. They also have a drinking fountain for humans and pets. RR is a port a jon, but there is a gas station close by if you prefer a real restroom.

This playground is great! Lots of slides at different heights for all ages. The pirate ship is a hit. It has treasure maps on it and even a spot to walk the plank. There are no swings and a disgusting port a potty which is why I took one star off. There is parking at the front which is great.

This park was a lot of fun for my young kids. They really enjoyed both playgrounds, though the pirate ship held their attention better, being designed for smaller children.

The hills near the play sets also provided good entertainment, as they both liked either running or rolling down from the tops, and just getting to enjoy the view from atop the hills.

Cons: The bathroom is just a port-a-potty. A music function on the pirate ship only worked sporadically, with no explanation as to what some of its features were supposed to do. When we first arrived, there were some teenagers who had climbed on top of the shelter roof by using a trash can; this set a bad example and was dangerous, as they threw off a scooter at one point and could have...

Ironwood Park is a very nice and creative park designed for children ages 5 to 12.

The pirate ship slide area, as well as the island slide area are very well designed, and a great way to spark imagination.

The downside to this park is that there is not a lot of shade, and there's no swing set. So when they say ages 5 to 12 they mean it.

my family will be back, but it will probably be on a cooler day, cuz the play area...
