A friend of mine and I went to Altoona Penn State for visiting, and we found that the scenery is very beautiful and the buildings has its own flavor or style. In short, this is a small but beautiful place and it‘s worth for a visit if you come to Altoona.

I'd only live here if you have no choice or want to save money. I feel like I was lied to or something, this place is 'okay' but I wouldn't say very beautiful, especially because when it gets cold all the leaves are gone so it hasn't been looking great. The surrounding town also is not very good. I wish I chose any other university I got accepted to if it meant not living here. I know the people here are trying their best to make it nice for students and I appreciate it, but there is a limit to what is possible to improve this place. Escape. I physically cannot eat the food here anymore but I have to pay the meal plan to live here. Surrounding off-campus living...

Penn State Altoona is a beautiful campus nestled in the wooded mountains of Pennsylvania. The chapel glass shines many colors all over the ground, trees and flowers and grounds are all very well kept, the reflecting pond is obviously a big part of the campus. The pond draws a lot of people in just to walk around it, sit by it, see the resident ducks who occupy it, get prom pics there, or homecoming, maybe even wedding pics. It’s a central location of natural wonder that gives people a place to go not only to learn but to unwind, feel free in nature despite living in the “city” of...

Nice campus. The parties were fun. I couldn't return because they messed up my financial aid. I ended up being charged tuition after dropping a class. Such a shame, I missed out on a great education because of that. Avoid the Korean microeconomics professor, his tests are barely understandable because of the broken English. The world religions class was pretty fun. I never met so many Russians...
