Ok, so this is most assuredly not what most have come to expect from an Oregon State Park. Needs lots of maintenance, serious cleanup, and most obvious is the need for updating all of the amenities. For example, the shower facility is one stall only. Another, the power outlets are 20 amp and that's only big enough for a few electric appliances and not for most air conditioners and certainly not all at the same time. There are dead limbs on several trees that need to be removed. And one toilet facility still has an unsightly mess around the foundation. And the list goes on.

So why stay here? It's the only state park in this area and seems to be a place that's convenient for travelers. That's why we stayed here. That said we...

Small cute little campground. The pictures make it look bigger and nicer than it is. They only have 1- 30amp hookup the rest are 20. This place is good for a night, maybe 2, but that's it. There is nothing to do or explore there. They water the grass nonstop, so the mosquitos are out of control, which makes you not want to be outside. They have 1 bathroom that has 1 shower that could use some updating but worked fine. The dump station is to the side as you are coming in. I had no connectivity while I was there due to a nearby fire and a fiber cable being cut, so I'm not sure how the signal is there on the regular. Not likely I'd come back here again, but good for the 2...

Nice smaller park. Very few spots for larger trailers. (35 ft) There is power and water, but only regular 20 amp outlets to plug in. No 30 or 50 amp plugs. 1 Women & men restroom with a shower and flush toilets. ( another outhouse type restroom in the day area.) There is also horseshoe pits in the day area, but bring your own horseshoes. Open area camping, for the most part, but a few spots with some bushes. For trailers, there is potable water available to fill and a dump station to empty. Quiet area, except for the occasional passing train. Nearest supplies is 15 miles. Gas, grocerys, restrurants. Nothing fancy. Good place to get away...

Really great camp spot. There are several spots that are private. Each spot has a fire pit. There are lots of trees. The bathroom is a little bit of a walk. However, they have 2 or 3 flush toilets in both men's and women's bathroom. Very clean!! The only thing that was a bit annoying was there are tons of mosquitoes both morning and evening. This is a great place for group camping. There are some walking trails around the campground.

Stayed one night at this park. Tent site $17 pr night for residents of Oregon, $22 for non. Nice partly shaded spots, bathrooms with showers, and camp hosts were really nice people. Wildlife roams the park randomly. Goose Lake isn't much to look at but there is plenty of other fishing lakes in the area. I did not see much else to do in the park, but it was a good place to layover for a night or two.
