It is a beautiful, accessible walking trail with wide trails, ample bird watching. Benches are scattered about the property if you need a break or want to sit and watch the wildlife. The only problem is the lack of parking. I started walking here in 2020. Back then you could park on the street when the parking lot was full, but they have since installed a lot of no parking signs on the adjoining streets. Thereโ€™s only about a dozen spots in the actual lot which causes people to park in the lanes next to the parking spots. Since the trails go on for miles the folks who do manage to snag a spot will be parked here for a long time, and itโ€™s difficult to get a spot. This has caused me to just turn around and leave several times. If the parking issue could be fixed then this place easily...

Best kept secret in American Canyon! Lovely trails that are good for a quick walk or long. Very dog friendly so feel free to bring your 4 legged friend. There are really 3 main routes that you can take which are all good distances for what your needs are. The first route is the dump trail which from the start you go straight all the way and it loops around (just under 3 miles), the second is a bit longer where you make a right at the beginning instead of going straight and then then turn left just before the small bridge and that will be a bit larger loop (closer to 4 miles), lastly is the large loop where you go over the bridge and keep going until you reach a drawbridge on the outskirts of napa (6ish miles). All are great trails and flat and well maintained and I...

Awesome place for bird watching. Walking a dog on leash is often difficult because of the number of people who refuse to follow the law. I'm there six out of seven days of the week and dogs off-leash are a 100% guarantee. I haven't seen a cop roll through in months if you leave your stuff in the car it will be broken into. 2023- The new school went in across the street and now parents loiter in this parking lot. There are 6 โ€œno parkingโ€ signs along a 100ft stretch of unpaved road adjacent to the parking lot. 6!!!!!???!!! It looks horrible and stupid. What a waste of money. 6 signs. Itโ€™s as if they didnโ€™t feel like driving the other 4 back...

Another review said that there were too many dogs. There we're a lot of dogs. However, while dogs do scare birds I didn't hear dogs barking and birds don't go on the paths. Maybe it was because it was a weekday and it was very empty. Anyway it was all very pleasant. I consider this place a must see. As a New Yorker I felt it was a combination of Great kills, Jamaica Bay, and the Meadowlands.
