This quiet neighborhood park in American Fork has such a fun playground! There’s something for everybody, with the really tall slides, swings, climbing pyramid, and small playground for your littles! The big grassy field is so fun too, and I bet it is a great sledding spot in the winter. Please note that there are no amenities here, so no bathrooms, drinking fountains, pavilions, and only one picnic table that is pretty separate from the park. It is set back pretty far from the road, but it is not fenced. Playground: ✅ Splash Pad: ❌ Bathrooms: ❌ Drinking Fountains: ❌ Indoor Areas: ❌ Stroller Friendly: ✅ Shade: ❌ Cost: $0 Recommended ages: 2-12 Time you’ll likely spend there: ~1 hour #americanfork #northutahcounty #utahcounty #exploreutahcounty #utahcountywithkids #hunterpark #utahparks #utahoutside #localpark #thingstodoutah #americanforkutah

Pros: -There's always plenty of parking. -Great hill for ice blocking during the summer and sledding during the winter. -Also has a large field down below for other games and activities. -2 well maintained playgrounds for the kids -Trashcans near the entrance -Really nice views, especially from the top of the playgrounds. -Right in the middle of a large housing area,, so there's always someone around. Cons: -Not a lot of trees. So everything from the metal benches to the playgrounds can get screaming hot and cause burns during the summer. -No drinking fountains or water faucets on site. -The playgrounds are not ADA friendly at all for kids or adults with disabilities. Overall though, it's a fantastic place to go and let the kids burn off some energy.

One of the best parks in the area. An excellent larger than normal playground with unique attractions. A smaller secondary playground for smaller children. Large grassy area with large hills that kids will love running/rolling down. Large trees provide shady areas for picnics. Abutting the park is an undeveloped forested area that keeps that park open, there are trails and a small stream that are fun to explore. Give it a try your kids will love it! Major weakness is lack of bathroom facilities.

This is probably my favorite park in the city. It's the perfect size with 2 play sets, big trees, quiet neighborhood, a great hill for sledding, and the view over the side is really pretty. (although really little ones be aware of the hills) My only issue was the last time I was there some 10 year old was driving REALLY fast over all the hills in a 4 wheeler. This is not an ATV park and I thought he was going to kill someone. I yelled at him and told him this isn't the right place to do that while little kids were playing and he could literally run over a child. He was ticked and left; I'm presuming up the road to his home. But who is the jerk in the neighborhood letting their kid wreak havoc with a 4 wheeler...

A special gem!

PROS: 1. Two playgrounds almost in one. Bigger one for the big kids and really close by is a little one for the little kids. All ages can play close together. 2. Great playground equipment (especially the fish ladder). 3. Big grassy hill. 4. Beautiful, breathtaking view of the valley. I just feel peaceful going here. 5. It's very close to Costco, so it's a great stop to or from shopping.

CONS: 1. No bathroom. 2. There is a log climber that I feel like is a death trap. It was hard for my husband and myself to climb up. We have seen many children fall...
