We had a great time here! Spent 4 hours there and my kids did not want to go home!
Pros: Not super expensive. Tokens are $1 each. Highly recommended the wristband if you have kids that are going to ride the trains a bunch. Lots of things to do included w your wristband, plus other stuff to use tokens or pay cash. Corn maze is huge, but has easy ways out if you end up getting stuck or just done with it. Kettle corn was really good. Everyone we talked to that worked there was nice. We had no problem entertaining ourselves for 4 hours. We could have easily spent more time there.
Cons: The lines for the trains were a hot mess. People cutting, no real set boundaries for the line. Waited in line for 20 min for bee train only for the driver to say he was done so he could go work the pig races. Wasted time waiting for nothing. We had to either get out of line and go to pig races or stay in line until the races were done and the driver returned. They were out of pretty much everything we asked for in the concession stand when we got there. We were told they were making a Sams run and to check back later. Tried the food from the cafe and everything was cold. The train rides were not running when we arrived, the duck races werent working, and the water bottle cannon wasnt open bc they hadnt filled any water bottles yet. By the time everything was working, it was starting to get crowded. We could have fit in several turns on things before it got crowded had they been prepared before opening the gates. Porta potties were DISGUSTING and had no toilet paper. I did not see anything being sanitized at all between kids using the trains, guns, etc.
Bring cash!! Credit cards accepted to get in, but anything else you need will be cash only.
This place could be absolutely amazing with a little fine tuning and better prep before opening for the day. All in all a great day and we will be back to try...
Read moreMy family and I randomly stumbled upon this amazing place today! It caught our eye on the highway driving back home to NOLA and after a quick google search we swiftly turned around. BEST DECISION EVER!!! Every one was so friendly and welcoming! My children range from 10 years old down to 8 months and everyone had a blast! I enjoyed this place more than Mrs. Heather’s! It wasn’t crowded and we never had to wait! Just make sure to have a little cash on hand for food/drinks/snacks. They will give you up to $20 cash back at the admission booth! This will be a yearly tradition for our family now! The only thing that bothered me was an employee who had a satanic hat/beanie on…but to each their own I guess. It won’t stop me...
Read moreOverpriced for what it is. The food sucked and the animals that you pet and watch are so malnourished that we almost had to leave because we were so upset . The cows had diarrhea on them, their hip bones stuck out, and one of them peed and drank their own urine which i don’t know if that’s a normal thing for cows to do but I got the idea it was because they need nourishments. The pigs sat in 2x4 cages all day until they decided to let them race. The cages all the animals are kept on have no grass in them even though there are fields of grass around them. For this place to charge so much, they don’t take care of their animals, the food isn’t too good, and the attractions aren’t too great. Take care of your animals you...
