Santa Ana Mountains Trail Head — Attraction in Anaheim

The morning was perfect for a hike. Cool and a bit cloudy with the sun peeking through to greet our faces with some warmth. The hills were a beautiful green hue. From recent rains we have experienced here in So. California. This trail is also popular with the mountain bike community. I did notice some horseshoe tracks on the trail, but didn't witness the filly in person. This trail had some spectacular views. I would definitely recommend it. Enjoy...

I would want to rate 4.5 but oh well... The down sides are: there are no public restroom along the trails, no trash cans as far as I can see. Great parking - only on weekends or non-business hours. Long trails of levels from easy to medium, nothing too dangerous for hikers but there are many challenging paths for bikers. Lots of bikers. Also great for dogs as well. It's totally worth your...

Weird spot. I can't tell if it's actually a PUBLIC entrance as it's right next to an elementary school and you have to maneuver behind a classroom by a metal rail fence.
