This National Park was Everything we wanted in a public park. Fishing was our goal and ohmaugaaawww is there some great spots to post up and cast your line. Be advised now, that this park hosts the yearly AlligatorFest. Therefore, you will see young gators floating, sunbathing and even taking their naps on the waters. Deal is , you don't bother them, they don't bother us. There are many military monuments for study and photos, baseball and basketball amenities and plenty of camping ground and pavement for skate activity. It's fun to bring the kids there are areas of shade on docks further out. The pier when first entering can turn it on at night just be responsible and turn it off when leaving if you're the only one fishing on the pier. We make sure to throw all our trash in the trash can. I taught my son it's not cool to litter and take care of the planet he has to...
