First time hiking the trails at this park/nature preserve. Had a great time with my family (kids between 9 mo and 7 yrs). Plenty of space on the trails or spots to step aside, if crossing paths, to social distance. The field trail had tons of flowers and pollinators flying around to spend a good 15 minutes teaching the kids. 90% of the trail is shaded under the tree canopy except for the field where depending on the time of day (morning or evening) you might get good shade on one side. Definitely will come back to check out the other part of the trail and have another adventure with the kids. Appeared...

Beautiful! The wildflowers are so pretty throughout the entire length of the trail. On the loop is a nice seating area to lookout over the Ohio River. I went on a Thursday evening and it wasn't crowded. The wooded area was very shaded with a nice breeze. I saw a mother with two toddlers and they didn't appear to have any trouble making their way through the woods. I'd definitely recommend this trail... its easy to find, clean,...

Such an underrated trail hidden in the Cincinnati suburbs. Very low elevation change which is rare around here, super dog friendly, lots of shade, tons of parking. Trail is about 2 miles long at the most if you do the widest loop, but easy to do multiple times if you need something more. It’s a bit more rustic so there is minimal amenities and only port a potties for bathrooms, but worth it.
