Eveland Family Farm is a working farm 365 Days a year and in the fall offers roughly a month of farm life to anyone visiting Andover.
This is not to be confused with Apple orchards around MN which cater more towards visitors year round. Don't expect to see a whole 4H line-up, they've got most MN farm animals but your not going to see everything you see at the Zoo.
Prices are very reasonable when you consider what your getting, who your getting it from and where it came from, if you want uniform pumpkins goto the grocery store, if you want something the neighbors will envy, the tricker-treaters will stare in amazement at, pick up a few here.
It's all fresh now and theirs plenty for everyone, if you come October 30th at 5pm and see a few rotten pumpkins don't be surprised because you waited until the last minute!
This farm is a staple of fall tradition for many families and if you're reading this review, I'm sure the Eveland family would love to have you added to their thousands of happy families that...
Read moreBeen coming here for years, they have this pig that walks around we have pet it before every year with no problems. My 7 year old went to pet the pig and it bit her in the leg, luckily not a deep bite but still left marks. My mother in law went to tell the staff "hey this pig just bit a kid", the man working at the front said "Is she going to live?" (Sarcastically) while the older staff member asked what do you "want us to do about it..." well obviously you should put the animal away, we even witnessed the pig lash out at a second kid shortly after our incident. To the farms credit they brought the pig in after this happened. If you see this pig out and about BE CAREFUL we did NOT do anything to provoke this animal. If I ran the farm I would apologize bring the pig in the barn, share my contact info, refund the family and bring out some antibiotic spray or something. Instead we were asked if we provoked the animal or if we saw anyone else harassing him. 1 out of 5 stars for poor handling of...
Read moreTried to come to this family farm with my friend from TN due to all of the high reviews and now wonder how a place with such rude staff is getting this high of reviews. With it being a farm I thought it was okay to bring my dog and missed the sign saying no animals. Instead of the lady coming out and nicely saying hey dogs aren’t allowed sorry we must have missed the sign she proceeded to yell at us and try to explain how dogs aren’t allowed welcome because of all other animals . She went on to berate us for missing the sign. Guess customer service is really lost at this location. Do not take your...
