This lake is beautiful and good for fishing. The shore is rather rocky, and no I didn’t get any leeches on me. There are different areas around the lake where you can barbecue or have a picnic. You can hike down to the edge of the lake and jump in, however, it is rather rocky and slippery as rock tends to give way under your feet. There were several areas that were closed of (probably due to COVID), so I wasn’t able to explore those areas. I did see one hiking trail as I was leaving but I didn’t have time to seek it out. Several cars noticed us going past. Peopled signaled there lights back to us. But yet no one came out to help. No one. We had a 7 year old little boy whom was freezing. We stayed in iron horse 65 campsite, the area had no trees and it was super sunny. We had to flock to the city during the day time to escape the sun and came back to campsite around 7ish.
