I wish I could give negative stars. We had a birthday party here for our kids and it was awful. The pavilion floors and tables are completely covered in bird poop that I’m actually going to submit a complaint to the Washtenaw County health department.

To reserve the space we had to pay almost $300 for this. No one greets you or even explains what happens when you get there, you just have to keep going to the welcome center to ask. On top of it, the promised tractor ride never happened because it was supposedly broken.

Then at the end of the event, one of the workers came over and went up to every table embarrassing us in front of our family and friends scolding us because we brought a case of white claw and high noon to the pavilion as part of the party. The worker literally went back to the welcome center and grabbed a stack of papers with all the policies and started handing them out as we’re all packing up and leaving she was that upset. She also kept saying that there’s signs posted everywhere but there isn’t. It was completely mortifying and left a terrible note to the birthday party.

It was a misunderstanding on our part and we immediately apologized, we thought no alcohol on the farm but didn’t realize the pavilion too. We were a crowd of parents and grandparents sitting down at the tables and feeding babies, yet the way the woman was scolding everyone as if we knowingly broke the rule and turned the pavilion into a riot. I have no idea why the woman was yelling at our family and guests for our mistake too. Perhaps if Dominos Farms had someone to at least greet you or check on you during the event this could’ve been addressed in a meaningful way.

Overall I cannot recommend the petting farm for hosting any events whatsoever. The staff are mean, the pavilion area is a health hazard, and you don’t receive what...

We have so much fun here! Our son loves having his birthday parties here, so we come back every year! It's a petting zoo so we get to touch and feed the goats, sheep and llamas. It rained this time so we didn't get our hayride like we did the previous years, bummer 😕. Our son still had the time of his life with his friends and that's all that mattered. There are horses and cows and ducks, chickens and peacocks too, but we are prohibited from feeding them. You can rent the pavilion for your parties by going online and reserving your preferred date. If you don't reserve the "whole" pavilion there are chances of another family having their party the same date. We didn't mind sharing. The farm is big so you don't even notice the other family being there. Everyone is out feeding a 🐐 or 🐑 🐏 lol. For food, you have a choice of Domino's Pizza, which is delivered by Domino's farm. Very convenient. You can place your order while you make your reservation. You can choose another pizza company or different types of food to serve your guests. The farm will not help you with delivery. They have bathrooms on site. They could use more care. I love that they have a foot stool for young kiddos in the women's bathroom. One con is the trash can, specifically the one located at the front pavilion. There were maggots visible in the trash. Maggots hatch within a period of 7-20 hours, I believe. This is the only request I'd like to ask the farm. Please change out the trash often. Besides that we love coming here. They do have a membership you pay annually should you want to go often like we do. They do a great job of keeping the farm...

Walked into building with children at 1pm exactly. Lady immediately said they were closing early at 130p because the weather was too hot. We understood and acknowledged her information with an okay. As we were going to get our kids out of the store because they had traveled ahead of us, the lady starting yelling at us saying they were closing and not accepting anymore admissions. We simple said okay still gathering our kids. Again she raised her voice at us saying we are closing and not accepting any new admissions. Not sure why she was continuing to yell at us but we told her we heard her the first time. We literally were only in the store maybe 1 or 2 mins before we were finally gone. That made us and my children feel like she didn't even want us anywhere near the store and if she could literally push us out she probably would have. That was our first time there and our children are very well behaved and caused no issues going in. They were looking at the trinkets they had for sale. Not sure how to feel about...

This place was so nice when I was a kid. It needs a major clean and paint job. The trash cans in the pavilion are covered in gross sticky stuff, the caboose could be made to look very cute. It could be cleaned up, repainted, decorated. They could do a polar express event in the winter, but my daughter is two and said “I don’t like it in here. Let’s get outta this place, Mom.” The farmhouse is in shambles. Tom Monaghan either needs to sell it or put some money into it because this place is going downhill. There are so many other farms that you could go to that are a lot nicer. If you’re looking for a true farm that smells like one is dirty and struggling then this is the place to come. But if you’re looking for agritourism, try Maybury.

We held my daughter's 4th birthday party here at the end of September. It was very easy to book the party online and easy to check in the day of the party. It was a little drizzly when we were setting up, but the pavilion was perfect for keeping the party area dry. We had a great time visiting the animals, going on a hayride, and playing in the different spaces around the farm. It was the perfect place for an outdoor event with access to nice bathrooms. Also, we have been members for a while now and I love that it's easy to stop by whenever we feel like visiting some animals.
