This was one of our favorite places to walk and ride bikes when we first moved to Anna; however, we recently went back and were sad to discover that nearly all of the trees lining the back portion of the trail have been removed. The canopy and established native trees were the main reason we loved to walk here, but sadly in the Texas heat, this is really only comfortable to use now during the first and last hours of the day. Great park! Lots to do here. You can make a day of it. The Splash pad is super fun and makes time go by fast in the summer heat. Gets the kids tired too. Playground is nice. Skate park is nice.
