Absolutely remarkable state park. Stunningly beautiful and teeming with life. Went to a beach on the salt lake, and there were lots of bugs, but the water was nice and warm. Very interesting environment, and absolutely gorgeous. Also we saw soooooo many Buffalo. For the first hour we only saw single bachelors, but eventually we got to the packs. And boy was it something. They were crossing the road, and the traffic was backed up, so we got to sit in the car and watch as they passed us like 10 feet away! Absolutely incredible creatures. Didn't go hiking but the trails looked amazing too. 10/10 would go again.

Hermoso lugar para apreciar la naturaleza con suerte te tocará ver bisontes pegados a la carretera una vista panorámica de primera

One of the most unique places I’ve ever visited… Standing in the edge of the great Salt Lake this island was home to an historic sheep ranch. It is accessed by a single causeway. Standing on the hills and mountains of the island you can see the salt and dust rising from the lake. The drought and the low level of the lake is shocking. Campsites once near the water are now nearly a mile from the surf. A marina now sets on the floor of the lake. It’s desolate and stunningly beautiful. It has an extraordinary visitor center. Don’t miss this stop…. It has a planetary scale to it that’s hard to describe.

Beautiful place, with a lot of wild animals. We saw of course a lot of Bisons, but also a Coyote and a family of Prohorn. The view on Salt Lake are amazing.

It can be very warm, and there are not a lot of places with shades. It is better to hike in the morning or at the...
