The food was 👍 good at the diner, but breakfast at the hotel was very poor. The fruit was so old that the apples 🍎 was so brown on the inside it could have been a brownie. The waffle batter was so old it looked like it had separated from the water used to mix it 😕. Every person that tried to make a waffle was gaging when they poured the batter it into a cup... The only thing I could eat was the yogurt. I had to check the date as I wondered if it was as old as the waffle batter. The juice dispenser has a rusty drain grate, I thought it was the fender on a car in the Chicago winter with the salted roads 😳. I had to beg for a copy of my bill, still didn't get it. I would suggest that you plan your trip to avoid this hotel. The casino is lame. Nothing but 1 cent machines. They have the nerve to suggest that they are going to give away a brand new Ford truck that is estimated to cost 98 thousand dollars. But you have to win a jackpot of 1200.00 dollars to even be entered into the contest. I could...
Read moreI can only speak about the free campsites that are in the field behind the fuel station. There are about 5 sites with water and electricity, all grass. No one seemed to know if we were supposed to pay for a campsite, we (and other campers) finally just set up, spent the night and left nest morning. I can only assume that the casino provided the campsites in hopes that campers would come in and gamble. The downside of the campsites was that they were totally not mowed and the cockleburrs (weeds with very sharp clingy seed pods) were everywhere and were awful, getting all over me and our dog. The best part, obviously, was that the campsites were free (from what we...
Read moreClarification- this is for the Rosebud Casino Campground not the casino itself. The campground is actually 10 sites right behind the gas station next door to the casino. You check in at the front desk of the hotel. I'll let the pictures tell the story (trash cans not emptied in a long time, some trash on the ground). As a note: make sure you have enough fresh water for the night. We did feel safe but seperated. It's a place to park and do the casino/buffet thing but given the option; stay at the fishberry campground maybe 4.5 miles down the road & drive back to the casino. I will give them this, because of no water it was on $ 10.00 to...
