Green Grove Gardens — Attraction in Antrim Township

Though it is definitely a very beautiful place,my boyfriend and I went to a puddle of Mudd concert there. We ordered balcony tickets... Which cost approximately twice as much as floor tickets. Can you get a perk of lake food and you don't have to go downstairs to go to the bar cuz they have one upstairs on the balcony. There were approximately five to six very large circular tables and because the tables were so large it was impossible to walk between behind or around anyone's chair. We arrived a little late, concert started at 6:00 and we arrived at 7:00 knowing that puddle of Mudd wouldn't start until 9:00 or 10:00. There was no seating for us!!!!!! After paying almost double what everyone else paid we didn't even have a chair to sit on next to each other!!!!! And then to make it worse daily sold three types of beer which were all local ipas which I can't stand. I mean it's one thing to support local businesses, but you should at least throw a Bud light or a Coors light or a Miller light in there for everyone else who doesn't like that stuff!!! So we left!!! Hundreds of dollars to attend a concert, and we left before 8 pm because WHOEVER WAS IN CHARGE OF DRINKS & SEATING should be...

I'm giving 2 stars because the bands were awesome, security was helpful and the crowd was full of great people. 1 star for the venue itself. The port o pots were discusting! Serviced on the 24th, concert was the 28th. 4 days of 90+heat without being serviced not only made them stink horribly, but they were overflowing with feces and urine, no hand sanitizer and low on toilet paper. One of the port o pots was leaking and had a feces filled puddle in front of it. A young child and adult stepped in it and almost fell. We paid for seated seats. When arriving and checking in, I was promised the 3 of us would have chairs to sit in. When we went to the seated section NO CHAIRS! There was another couple who did not have chairs supplied either. We ended up walking up to the main pavilion and carrying chairs out of the pavilion ourselves! Unacceptable. Half of the staff was just standing around watching us. For a venue that does weddings, it sure is extremely disorganized and dirty! Love supporting local places but we sadly will not be returning for...

The show was awesome, however myself along with many other people were handicapped and that facility was a nightmare for us. They had people packed in there like sardines. There was no room in between seats to get through with a wheelchair or walker, you coulf barely get through without a medical device. Most of the handicapped folks had to wait until the show was over and the place cleared out in order to get to the bathroom, then find out there was only 1 handicapped stall. If there would have been a fire or any other emergency necessary for evacuation, it would have been a total disaster. Thank god for the very nice patrons who helped the handicapped because the staff was of no help at all.
