this is a waste of money we spent 80 bucks for tickets for four people, then had to pay an additional eight dollars to get in through the gate for some reason. Then, when we went to the rodeo, there was no place to sit, which is why I thought we had to buy tickets in advance. Even the sign upon entry says sold out, which is why I bought the tickets several weeks in advance in hopes to be sure that I had a place to sit during the exciting part of the rodeo instead of sitting through only being able to get a Seat during the kids, riding sheep.
This is not what I paid for so I went to the other side and it cost me 20 bucks to ride one ride🤨 With My Wife. They were nobody keeping track of the people smoking wherever they wanted, including marijuana. And it seemed like the kids were by themselves while the parents were somewhere else doing something else.
The beer prices were pretty good, but all the other vendors were extremely Pricey, except for the curly fry vendor who definitely made it worth a while to get huge bucket of fries for only $10.
other than that, there’s no point in wasting your time buying rodeo tickets in advance again even when there was no seating we tried to make the best of it by standing up against the fence, but then we had the police who should’ve been monitoring something else told us that we had to move from the fence, even though the fence was nowhere near the action. I am being 6 foot two was able to see some of it but my wife who is 5 foot two could’ve been on my shoulders and not seen anything. Again, if you like dropping 100 150 bucks on nothing because you’re independently wealthy and just wanna be outside Then this is the thing for you. But for 100150 bucks there’s a lot more classier things that I would say you could do outside And this waste of money junk. needless to say, I’m pretty upset and will not be going back and recommend you not going back either as you’ll just be on your feet in the hot sun drinking beer, hoping to...
Read moreWe tried to go to the rodeo today on Saturday Feb. 26 and bought tickets online in advance. We arrived there about 30 minutes early. When we were arrived, we could already tell the stands were all full and it looked like it was greatly oversold. We each paid the $2 to get into the grounds and then went in to enter the rodeo with our tickets. There was a sign there that said it was standing room only. Workers there were telling people they could use their tickets tomorrow on Sunday even though the ticket specifically said it was day specific. That frustrated us since we bought tickets for Saturday, not Sunday and didn't want to drive back the next day.
We looked inside to see if there was actually room and everything was packed. We saw people standing behind the corner small bleachers but one couldn't see the rodeo from there. It looked like there wasn't even standing room. We immediately left and feel angry that the rodeo was so oversold. I don't have the numbers but I would not be surprised if the rodeo was oversold by double of seating capacity. The workers there didn't seem to care too much so we just left. We expressed our frustrations to one of the workers as we left and he just lifted his hands up like there was nothing he could do.
I tried to request a refund (since we pretty much couldn't get in to even see the rodeo) on eventbrite.com but refunds are not allowed. I select the contact organizer part but after submitting that, we get an error message. I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the account is set up so that the event organizer can not be contacted. There is literally no way to let eventbrite.com know that we can't contact the organizer through their website. Many other people were leaving just as frustrated as we were. We sincerely hope they'll be issuing refunds if we can't even sit or stand anywhere to actually...
Read moreNegative reviews are not my thing. Yet sometimes a man has paid for something that was so poor, so uncomfortable and disappointing that he feels he must inform others. The bad things just kept happening all along this rodeo journey. I'll be brief and just hit the negative highlights.
The website is wrong. The right hand in this organization seems to not have much awareness of the left. There was no discount for early ticket purchase. In fact, one has to pay an additional $2 just to get on the grounds (not for parking) so that you can walk to the arena entrance. They oversell the capacity and packed us in like sardines. The grand entry was strange and almost unrecognizable after so many banners flags and parading that preceded it. The announcer was so busy engaging in the party, rock-concert atmosphere that several times the events became secondary and the athletes were not even announced. This was a pop-culture, rock show filled with rap, inappropriate music and a ring clown that was simply not relevant to rodeo.
Okay, there us more but if yove read this far you've got the idea. I could go on. I confess that I am old school. I've been an attendant rodeo fan for over 50 years so this trend to make rodeo into a screaming rock concert turns me off. If that is what you like though, this may be worth all the...
