Quieter, “off the beaten path” beach on the island where the dogs can play all day. We got on the island at 7am and needed a place to kill time prior to our rents being ready. Lobsterville beach was a great find! It was quite rocky in the water and parking is limited. There’s only about eight or so spots for non residents. You definitely want to arrive early to get a spot. Beautiful beach with great views of the Vineyard Sound and Elizabeth Islands. Calm water and lots of shoreline to walk. Great swimming for dogs and kids. Parking spaces are limited and fill up fast, so head out early if you are planning a beach day in the summer.
