Wont go back. Accepted debit card payment for a family of 5 including twin 4 1/2 year olds. Zero mention of height requirement for the water slides. See where this is going? As it turned out kids were too short to go in the tubes as they were an inch and 3 inches less than 4 feet. The obvious question of "why?" was answered by the tube keeper who stated it was Texas State law. Really? The kids had no restriction at the Schliterbahn and met the height requirements for all the tube rides and slides which were much faster and longer than the ones here. When I requested a refund the ticket dispenser said he couldnt because we paid by card and I would have to request a refund by contacting the supervisor. Screw that. Cash it will be then and the ticket guy refused. I refused to leave without a refund and some pipsqueak female lifeguard peeked from behind a curtain after hearing the disagreemwnt. Shortly thereafter, two male lifeguards appeared and tried to be menacing by asking if there was a problem. "Yes there is and there will continue to be one until I get my refund," was the reply. I further asked to see the regulations/law and unsurprisingly they could neither reference or produce the dictate. After a couple phone calls ticketmaster refunded me cash and we left uneventfully. Absolutely ridiculous. No need for anybody to be...
Read moreTook grandchildren and their friends for family night 7/30. They had a blast as usual. The disturbing part of this visit was the almost total lack of attention of the life guard at the area of the diving board for most of the first half hour. A female lifeguard kept his attention away from his duties as they talked and whatever until another lifeguard came over and pushed her in. The first lifeguard at the bottom of the slides was sitting at the edge of the pool not paying attention to what was going on in front of her. After changing of the guards it got some what better but in that area of the pool there was nothing impressive about the safety of the pool patrons. In all fairness I have never seen it this way before in all the times...
Read moreI wish I could give it 5 stars, but I can't. They had to open the Waterpark late in the summer because of parts that didn't came in before summer. They should've have got it during off season. We now have to take swimming tests which is just ridiculous, they should've kept the swimming school for the people who can't swim while the park was closed. They now had to move the concession stand in the front instead of inside the park. They're now asking us to take breaks, but breaks from what? This isn't a school or workout place, it's a waterpark. I think they should fix these problems that the customers were complaining. I would like to go back to the old ways that the park has been through instead of micromanaging...
