I'm giving it 4 stars because the drive in is very rough, but it's so worth it! You can camp anywhere you want in this place which is convenient and it feels like you really went camping. This place also has restrooms that are surprisingly clean. We also had the luck of encountering various wildlife while we were there. We saw a beautiful red cardinal that flew inside of our car, a baby scorpion, and a huge tarantula. I will warn you that there is a ton of bees here so be careful if you're allergic like me, don't wear bright or pastels colors and don't wear flowery scented perfume. This place also allows for you to bring your boat and to fish in the lake (with a fishing license of course). It's a great place to camp and I seriously recommend it because you feel like you're really out...

Beautiful! Stayed at the Burnt Corral campground. Spots are well spaced, had one right next to the shore which was nice. Very clean and the bathrooms and benches are convenient. Roads were being rapaved as well which is a major plus for people going with smaller cars. Went on a Monday in March and hardly anyone was there 👐 A high clearance vehicle is recommended but not necessary. Will bring a kayak or bikes next time though. Made the mistake of thinking it was a good hiking area but it's way too hot and rocky haha. Only major bummer is that Tonto passes aren't...

The old truck popped a ball joint and ran aground, told the guys up at the store, next thing you know we had a giant front loader, a truck, a trailer and about a half dozen hands helping out. We even lucked out with the guy who towed it for us all the way Tucson without incident, and for a much better price than any tow company would offer. I’m super grateful for their...
